Magic In Amsterdam
I just got back from a 10 day trip to Amsterdam and Germany.
Always when I travel, my mind seems to open up and allow new thoughts and pathways to enter…
This is why I take so much value in traveling and will continue to do so the rest of my life.
I also appreciate the freedom and lifestyle that my entrepreneurial journey allows for me.
My first night in Amsterdam was a night I will remember for the rest of my life.
Cold night in the red light district Drinking a few beers and taking in all the unusual sights and inhaling the smells of a place that is the definition of freedom… how could this night get any better?
I was about to meet up with 2 of my mentors and good friends- Gerard Adams and Digital Jeff.
I knew it was about to be an impactful moment in an equally impactful place.
Here is an interview Gerard Produced that was a couple of years back, I can say this interview impacted and has put me on the path and growth I am on today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6Cl3X1_6T4
Gerard has been an incredibly successful man from a young age and I know I still have a lot to learn from him.
One thing we spoke about was about why we do what we do.
Is it for a dollar? Just for the dollar? Nahhh….
Its bigger than that. He said something that stuck with me. “In the beginning its about making a dollar, then when you make a dollar, it becomes about impacting and improving other peoples life. This makes you rich in energy, ultimately leaving you with a legacy and life that is rich in itself.”
It really got me thinking about why I’m doing this. I could easily continue my entrepreneurial journey quietly and take myself to the the moon. Financially.
But no. What I crave is deeper than that. I want to surround myself with people like myself. People with the same energy and vision for this life.
Entrepreneurship can be lonely. Its a fun journey, but definitely has its hard times.
This community of people, is where we will grow and create other leaders. As Gerard always says “LEADERS CREATE LEADERS”.
I’ve been blessed to be in the position that I’m in and to be able to show others the way as well.
Let me know what you think.
